High level Fishing

How many of us have aspired to get a 99 in a skill? This is a common goal on runescape. I hope to enlighten you with information about fishing in members while attempting to reach that goal.
Barbarian Outpost – Bring feathers and a knife. Barb is a fun area that you get to by teleing to the Barbarian Outpost on the games necklace and then walk south to a small house to talk to Otto. He will give you a heavy rod to fish with and you can use the bait that is dropped by other fishers there or just play it safe and just use your own feathers. Then you can cut or drop at your choice. This levels fishing, strength, agility and if you cut your fish – cooking. Most just drop as the roe and caviar aren’t good for much except bait. Barb is the best in experience at about 50 exp per hour plus leveling other levels, just no cash. I found barb fun at times just to do something different and annoying at others when I got tired of dropping. 
Fishing Guild – The fishing guild is found east of Camelot or you could just take the skills necklace and tele there. You will need a fishing level of 70 to get into the fishing guild. There are fishing pots and admiral pies that can take you up a level or two so you can enter if you are close. The guild is nice because it has a close bank for storage. You can fish lobs, tunas/swordies and sharks there.
Monks – Monks are by far my favorite to fish as I can vedge, read forums, talk to friends and just relax while fishing them. Some might find this too boring, but at times I really enjoy it. An inventory load takes about 4-5 minutes on average and about 35 k experience an hour there. You have to do the quest Swan Song to fish there. The quest itself is not difficult, but the requirements are many with levels and other quests being prerequisites. 
Rock Caves – The new rock caves are amazing and by far one of my favorite updates. Now we can fish and fight at the same time. I spend a ton of time there now and see many high levels fishing or mining there. Bring food ( I usually bring 5 sharks and a prayer potion – I’m a lev 104) a regular rod, just regular bait for cave fish, living minerals for rocktails and a tele to get out. You can find Rock Caves by going in the Fally mine to the side with the railroad tracks and going down the hole there. It only has a deposit box so your nearest real bank is Fally. I don’t find the cavefish to be all that great, but the rocktails are currently the highest healing fish at 22 hps with a bonus. They are worth about 2.5 e at this time and you will fish them faster then sharks, but slower then monks. They are about 40-45 k exp an hour depending upon how often the 120 and 140 monsters attack you so it is a good idea to find a busy world when you go. The fishing spots do tend to disappear some too but after a while you will get used to where to look for them. The rocktails are a required 90 fishing level and the bait is living minerals which are mined from the rock monsters. To mine the rock monsters you need a lev 73 mining or just buy the living minerals at the GE.
Sharks – I call sharks the “cool fish” because they look the coolest in the inventory and look the coolest while fishing them. Handfishing sharks really is the best fishing to watch. You just need a harpoon to fish them at level 76 fishing or your hand after you get 96 fishing.
Shilo – Shilo is flyfishing with bait at Shilo on Karmaja. It is real close to a bank so you can store the trout there. I found Shilo annoying with all the storing and moving of spots, but I hear the exp there can’t be beat.
