Interview with Micki

Here is my interview with the moderator Micki, on RSB. Heres how it went. Enjoy folks.

How long have you been a moderator at RSB:
Umm a few months I believe.
Why do you think you were selected for this role?
Because we needed an editor for the events section and they were in desperate need of moderators anyways. Because I am able to be (somewhat) mature.
What have you liked most about being a Moderator?
I like cutting the balls off of spammers. That really is my favorite part. Sounds horrible I know, but it was something I didn’t think about before becoming a mod that is a mod’s job. I like being able to give my opinion in staff. They really do listen to all of us. I am also helpful to a fault. I love helping people on runescape and helping them on RSB too. It’s just a part of my personality. I am able to help them more in my mod position.
I see, and what do you think makes you a helpful person. Is it your personality, or what?
Yeah I tend to be helpful my whole life which I think helps me be a mod. Used to carry around a big purse incase people needed stuff. But that got lame. Even on rs I will go outta my way to help people which can burn ya in the end. Just the way that God made me.
What have you disliked most about being a Moderator?
Ahhh has to be the disrespect because I “havn’t been here long enough” or “only modded because I’m a girl” or whatever excuse people use. Trust me I’ve heard them all. Truth is if you want to be a mod just be nice to people, act mature, don’t get into flame wars, act mature, help people, act mature, obey the rules, act mature, be active, act mature, give decent posts oh ya and did I say act mature??? That’s why I’m here – maturity on RSB is lacking.
Second least fav. is deleting porn. 
But when I was a member they spammed porn and that was wayyy worse to not be able to delete it.
That wouldn’t be fun. If you could say anything to that person right now, what would you say?
The porn dude? Get a life!
Do you think you deserve to be a Moderator: If you would have asked me that right after I was modded I probably would have said no. I would have rather been Events Manager with editing capabilities. Now I think I’ve earned my position.
If you could change anything about RSB, what would it be: Ok I believe I would change the cliquiness of RSB. I think we should all just get along and be friends instead of just friends with our own friends or w/e. Personally I think some of the members that have been here longer struggle with this. Plus bann all spammers bahahha.
Who do you think has been your mentor: My favorite mod and example to me has been Sigo. I loved how he would take on the warm welcomes and I do try to follow in his footsteps when I can.
I love both Rker and Arnaud as admins and am sad that they aren’t as active as they were at one time. Rker gave me my first sig. It was amazing. Arnaud’s ability to debate won me over as a member. Instead of a humiliating techniques he wins over his opponant with his knowledge and widom. Even though we don’t see eye to eye on many issues (hardly any) I have thoroughly missed his debates. Unfortunately have only had glimpses of Chris, but have a huge respect for him.
